In 2008, Step-In, the Bonn-based Work and Travel Company, reputed at that time to carry close to 10,000 young people aged between 18-30 years to Australia each year, responded positively to a Karisma proposal and agreed to partner Tourism NT and JOB Australia in an innovative and highly targeted youth campaign.

More than 3,000 young people joined the Northern Territory online group and followed the blogged experiences of three prizewinners who won trips to the NT, inclusive of working holiday jobs.

The objective of the campaign was to raise the profile of Darwin and the NT as an appealing Australian gateway and Work and Travel destination based on the joint development and promotion of Summer jobs in Australia's Outback Northern Territory using the influential studiVZ online community channel in Germany as the forum for the campaign.
